Questions and Answers
Q: Does cancellation insurance provide coverage for a global health crisis like COVID-19?
A: We DO NOT cover COVID-19 for our wedding cancellation insurance. For example, if your venue goes out of business due to COVID-19 and you lose your deposit, IT WOULD NOT BE COVERED. The same applies if your significant other fell sick from COVID-19 and you needed to cancel the wedding, that would NOT be covered either.
Q: Can I still buy cancellation insurance during the COVID-19 pandemic?
A: Yes, you can still purchase cancellation insurance for weddings. As we all know, weddings can cancel for a lot of reasons, not just pandemics.
Q: Are event insurance premiums increasing due to COVID-19?
A: Our liability and cancellation insurance premium rates are not increasing as a result of COVID-19. We are still offering a competitive rate for our coverage with a $0 deductible.
